A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Magneto and Warlock entering the core of the Phalanx base, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 16:53 in the season five episode "The Phalanx Covenant, Part 2." Measuring 12.5"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x6.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including scratches, light black line fade, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
