A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series “X-Men” (1992-1997). Featuring Rogue and Wolverine during their first interaction with Nightcrawler, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 9:35 in the episode “Nightcrawler.” Measuring 10.5”x20.25” overall, with a character image of 6.5”x7.75”, the multi-layer cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, minimal line fade, a jagged edge on rogue’s cel layer, and paper transfer to the reverse from storage. Also included is a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
