A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Rogue throwing a couple military tanks into a lake, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 5:50 in the season one episode "Night of the Sentinels, Part 2." Measuring 9.75"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.25”x8.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including scratches, light black line fade, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The peg hole strip area of the cel was trimmed from the bottom edge at the studio to adjust the animation, and there is adhesive residue remaining along that trimmed cel. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
