Jonny Quest “Terror Island” Giant Spider Production Cel (1965) - ID: mar23422

A production cel from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Jonny Quest. Featuring a gruesome image of the monster-sized spider experiment of Dr.Chu Sing Ling, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled "Terror Island," which aired on February 25, 1965. Measuring 10.5"x12" overall, with the character image measuring 5.5"x5", the cel is in very good condition with orange paint stuck to the cel surface near left side of spider, edge wear on the right side, and tiny tears on the middle and right peg holes. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background.
