A production cel from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Jonny Quest. Featuring a great side profile of Benton Quest while he is in discussion with Race Bannon, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in an episode entitled "Dreadful Doll," which aired on December 4, 1964. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 5"x4.5", the cel is in very good condition with paint residue on his shirt and eyebrows and line wear around his head. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background. Race Bannon is part of the printed reproduction background, and is not part of the original hand-painted cel.
