An original production cel and background setup from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series, The Flintstones (1960-present). Featuring a cel set-up of Fred playing with Dino, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both cels and the background are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in episodes in the series. The hand-painted background and rock wall cel overlay are from the same episode entitled "Dino and Juliet", and the cel of Fred Flintstone is from an episode entitled "The Big Move." Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with a character image measuring 5.75"x12", the cel set-up is in good condition with a various tears on the edges of the cels and background, as well as some minor line wear to the cel layers, and the Fred cel is stuck to the background and overlay. The piece presents remarkably well and is a stunning Flintstones image as setup by the studio.
