This is an original production cel from the Fox Studios production of the very first Treehouse of Horror from The Simpsons (1987-present). The hand-painted cel features Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Homer Simpson from the season 2 Treehouse of Horror segment "Bad Dream House." It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The overall measurements of the piece are 15.5" x 18" matted with the mat opening measuring 9.25" x 11.75". The image itself measures 8" x 9.5". The production cel is in very good condition, unexamined out of its mat, and includes a matching color copy background, 20th Century Fox studio seal and the original certificate of authenticity.
