1950s Minnie Mouse Ceramic Figurine from Evan K Shaw Pottery - ID: shaw00092minn

A vintage figurine inspired by the Disney Studios adorable character Minnie Mouse. Featuring Minnie in a classic polka dotted outfit, the figurine is stamped "Copyright Walt Disney, Mexico," and was likely created by Evan K. Shaw Pottery. Through the 1940s and 1950s, the Evan K. Shaw Pottery company and its sister companies, Metlox and American Pottery, produced a wide range of ceramics. In 1943, they were granted approval as a licensee to produce a range of Disney characters. These companies are no longer in business, making these ceramics difficult to come by. Measuring 4"x4" and 7.5" tall, the figurine is in good condition with crazing and light wear from age.
