A hand-silkscreened attraction poster for Disneyland's Matterhorn Bobsleds. Designed by Paul Hartley, the great sense of movement and color choices used in this poster have made it a favorite among park guests and collectors since the attraction first opened in 1959. Due to the laborious process of silk-screen printing, the park printed multiples of this poster when it was designed in 1957, and as the park displayed poster would fade and wear, a replacement would be pulled from the printed inventory. The early silk-screened posters are some of the most identifiable and vivid representations of the early park. The poster measures 54"x36" and is in fine condition with minor surface and edge wear. The poster is linen backed for preservation and is framed with a simple black square wood frame.
