A rare Eleanore Welborn square plate featuring the Mark Twain at Disneyland. Welborn was one of the first suppliers that Walt Disney chose to make souvenirs for the park when it opened in 1955. Welborn specialized in ceramics that were custom made at her studio in Monterey, California. Her work for Disneyland is highly sought after by collectors. This 6.5"x6.5"x.5" plate is in very good condition with some crazing from age. This style of plate is extremely rare.
