An original production cel from a 1970's animated Sesame Street segment titled 1 to 20 Number Elimination. Featuring the lovable Cookie Monster after eating the number 17, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Due to the lighting setup used in the studio while photographing this sequence, Cookie Monster was painted in a purple tone rather than his iconic blue tone. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the image area measuring 5.5"x7", the cel is in good condition with pin holes near top edge of cel and minimal line wear. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background.
