This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production of Sleeping Beauty (1959). This hand-painted cel features the fairy godmother Flora with her wand, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The overall measurements of the piece are 12.5" x 10.25" and the image itself measures 4.25" x 5.5". Just to the left of Flora's image is the signatures of Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, two Disney Legends who are a couple of the Nine Old Men of the studio. The cel is in fair condition with some areas of paint loss that can be professionally restored, and the cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background.
