An original production background from the Disney Studios World War II Government film, "Flying the Weather Map" (c.1940's). Featuring a stunning aerial view, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" overall, with the image itself measuring 11"x15", the painting is in very good condition with minor discoloration, edge and handling wear.
