"The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things: Of shoes and ships - and sealing wax - of cabbages and kings" This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production Alice in Wonderland (1951). This hand-painted cel from the beloved Walrus and the Carpenter segment features the Walrus, the Carpenter, and also a very rare cel with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum as the sun and the moon. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel is paired with a custom recreated background. The overall measurements of the trimmed nitrate cel are 12.5" x 16" and the image itself measures 6.25" x 4.5",4.5" x 3.75",1" x 1". The production cel is in very good condition.
