“The Fox and the Hound” Tod and Big Mama Production Cel (1981) - ID: jul26163

A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). Featuring Tod getting advice from Big Mama, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 17.5”x23.5” framed with mat opening measuring 7.5”x15.25”, and the character image measuring 4.5”x7.25”, the cel is in very good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. The cel appears to have been laminated by the studio for distribution and exhibits slight line fade and minor wear to the frame itself.
