An original production background from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Make Mine Music (1946). Featuring a surreal image of piano keys stretching across a majestic sunset, the beautifully painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The background is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the final film. Much like Fantasia, Make Mine Music features animated shorts that revolve around musical accompaniment. Measuring 9.5"x44.5" overall with the image measuring 8.5"x36.5", the background is in very good condition with minor edge wear, and it is applied to a larger backing board.
