A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "Pinocchio" (1940). Featuring a ballerina marionette, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process to ensure character consistency among animators. This character design is one that was cut from the final animation of the film, but it still appeared in promotional imagery and was reimagined as the character Sabina in the 2022 remake. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the image area measuring 9.5”x11.25”, the model sheet is in very good condition with wear from age and handling including yellowing and discoloration, minor edge and corner wear, staple holes in the upper left corner, stains and writing on the reverse, and a vertical crease down the center of the sheet.
