A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated Silly Symphony short "Mother Goose Goes Hollywood" (1938). Featuring a caricature of W.C. Fields as Humpty Dumpty and Charlie McCarthy caricaturized as a ventriloquist dummy, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 10”x12.5” overall, with the character image measuring 9”x11”, the model sheet is in very good condition with minor age related discoloration, edge wear, and staple holes.
