A production cel from the UPA Studios animated interpretation of Hans Christian Anderson’s classic tale “The Emperor's New Clothes” (1953). Featuring a servant of the Emperor, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x5", the cel is in good condition with light line wear, paint loss on bottom, and rippling to the cel.
