MTV music videos gave musicians an opportunity to stand out from the competition by creating a unique visual interpretation of their song. Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" brought together live action performances by Abdul and her dancers with a wild animation counterpart in order to capture the true meaning of the timeless sentiment that opposites attract. This is an original production cel from the MTV Studios music video for Paula Abdul's hit song "Opposites Attract". This hand-painted cel features Paula Abdul's rap inspired counterpart from the video, MC Skat Kat. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel is paired with a black and white copy reproduction of one of the live action scenes from the video. The overall measurements of the piece are 10.5" x 12.5" and the image itself measures 7" x 12.5". The production cel is in very good condition.
