A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series “X-Men” (1992-1997). Featuring Beast and Rogue as the Phoenix pulls their energy to revive Jean, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 19:10 in the episode “The Dark Phoenix, Part 4: The Fate of the Phoenix.” Measuring 9”x10.5” overall, with the character image measuring 4.25”x7.5”, the cel is in very good condition with light surface wear, minimal black line fade, paper transfer to the reverse, and slight curling. Included is a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
