A pair of production drawings from the Apple Films animated musical "Yellow Submarine" (1968). Featuring a great illustration of Chief Blue Meanie, the film's primary antagonist, the graphite drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 12.5"x16" each, with character imagery measuring 5.25"x5" and .75"x1", the drawings are in very good condition with age-related discoloration, minor edge and corner wear, creasing around the corners and top edge, light staining to the lower corners of one drawing, and tearing around one of the bottom right peg holes.
