Paddington Bear™
Van Eaton Galleries has announced the addition
of Paddington Bear™ to the product line for the year 2000!
Fully-licensed and based on the famous character created by Michael Bond,
there is great attention to quality and detail in this beautifully crafted
piece. Standing approximately 15" tall, Paddington™ is 5-way
jointed and constructed of custom-woven alpaca plush. With glass eyes,
leather nose, hand-embroidered features, and individual felt paw pads,
Paddington™ comes wearing his trademark duffel coat with red
lining and bush hat made of the finest all-wool felt. Included is a custom-made
leather suitcase handcrafted in perfect scale. Paddington™
will be made in a premiere limited edition of 2500 pieces. Each will come
enclosed in a deluxe hand-cut presentation box with a signed certificate
of authenticity and the forms for owner registration. Future plans include
additional themed accessories and clothing made especially for Paddington™.
